We offer employees a range of staff benefits in partnership with our health and wellbeing partner Vivup, these are designed to improve your physical, financial and mental health. To access your staff benefits, you need to register on shropshire.vivup.co.uk. The platform is mobile friendly and can also be accessed on your personal devices.

Agency workers are not eligible for the Shropshire Council Employee Benefits and cannot therefore register on the Vivip portals. Benefits will vary for employees who are on teachers’ terms and conditions.

The council’s Employee Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme is administered by Tusker and can be accessed via the council’s employee benefit platform.

Through this employee benefit, you can offset some of your pre-tax salary in exchange for the use of a brand new car, with a fixed monthly amount taken from your salary. You will also save on National Insurance and Tax contributions.

The scheme includes a range of fully electric, hybrid and petrol vehicles which will hopefully suit a range of budgets and needs. You are able to set your annual mileage limit and choose the term of the agreement. Each quote will be tailored to the individual applicant and quotes are available directly via the Tusker portal.

As with all financial commitments, it is the individual’s responsibility to assess affordability and to consider how changes to personal circumstances may impact upon affordability.
