In support of the Shropshire Plan it is essential that Shropshire Council is a healthy organisation aligning everything behind our vision and priorities. To achieve this we need the best workforce. One that is equipped to meet the ongoing challenges the Council faces. PDPs will play an important role in supporting staff to be the best they can be.
The PDP is a revised approach to how we hold performance conversations ensuring that moving forward, we have positive, future focused conversations that support the Council’s Performance Management Framework. It is about discussing:
- Your level of performance
- What is helping and hindering you in your role
- Support you need from your manager or other colleagues
- Future individual and organisational goals
- Your career aspirations
